Unfortunately, BillK, this is a TOTAL URBAN LEGEND.  You do not use only 
10% of your brain any more than you use only 10% of your blood.

Seriously, being human is dangerous enough without deliberately making it 
worse.  You don't have the neurons to spare.  Neither do I.
