The Sci-Fi Channel just showed a 1998 `modernized' adaptation of BRAVE NEW WORLD, railing throughout against the evils of Soma. I nearly fell off my chair laughing when one of the ad breaks urged us soothingly to try Zoloft. Targeted demographics at its best! Damien Broderick
