Does anyone know if optical processors have the same
vulnerability to radiation in orbit as electronic
processors do? I'm wondering if, now that these are
finally purchasable, they might be a simple swap-in
replacement for low-grade electronics. (More
expensive than real electronics, of course, but
possibly a lot less expensive than custom-designed
harded electronics.)
