For those of you on the list who are old enough to
remember or have played Adventure, wikipedia has
an entry on it -- warning: spoilers may be involved.

For those of you who never played Adventure it might
be viewed as an interesting form of chess.  There
were puzzles that one had to figure out and one had
to create a mental map of the cave (similar to how
one would project moves in checkers or chess).

There are certainly more advanced forms of these games
that have developed over the last 20 years but some
of us have nostalgic memories for the original.
