"More than meets the eye..." ;)
Seriously, though, I've been thinking about something
like this myself - though only in the realm of sci-fi
speculations. A vehicle that can fold up into roughly
human proportions would have the practicality of not
needing a parking space, at least for standard work
commute (where you could "park" it in your cubicle or
office), assuming it was indoors-friendly ("wipe your
feet" doesn't even begin to describe what'd be needed,
though "sheathe your tires and be able to move around
with your engine off" might). It might also be
adaptable into a good lunar or martian spacesuit (that
is, a spacesuit intended for use only on the Moon or
Mars) - though it'd need arms, pure electric power,
and a few other modifications.
