I can't tell from this article whether this actually exists or is just
predicted for the future.  Any specific details?  This would be amazing if
we could use this technology.

I note that they attack "bioprobes", whatever they are, to antibodies.  It
may be that the antibodies themselves seek out the cancer cells, but lack
the power to destroy the cancer effectively enough.  The bioprobes may just
be metal nanoparticles that heat up in a strong magnetic field.

I almost hope that the method is this simplistic.  Although it would be
disappointing that the "bioprobes" are really just metal particles, and the
seeking process is natural antibodies and not artificial, the simplistic
nature of this process would make it more applicable wide-scale and toward
other diseases.  We could piggyback on any antibody and then use that
natural pathway to target our magnetic fields.
