That is a really interesting way of putting it Damien. I believe you've
hit upon a good metric of measuring race winners: how much they have to
pay for a vote, how many votes buy an electoral vote, and how much
money the candidates raise and spend.... it then becomes purely a
microeconomic equation that any college freshman could figure out.
