The choice phrase used was
"Britain will become a nation of hairdressers" :)
But this report is from the CBI conference, intended to get more
benefits for big companies from the government. They are both ignoring
the thriving 'black-market' economy being created by the
ever-increasing taxes and regulations from government. Officially,
like 'unemployment', if it doesn't appear in their records, then it
doesn't exist.
