Ja but Ive often thought this whole Madonna/whore thing is
a put-on.  She doesn't seem any more promiscuous than any
of the other female rock stars.

Last Newtonmas I went to the post office for postage, they
offered to show me the Madonna stamps.  I objected that this
isn't Madonna, this is some woman holding a glowing baby.  

Turns out postal workers have no sense of humor.

But as Gina pointed out, I fear we have swung wide of the
