One of the most interesting aspects of this story, which is not, of course, 
reported in the CNN article, was that numerous Internet sources and blogs 
spotted this problem almost immediately, even while dozens of newspapers 
continued to report the story as unquestioned fact.  But you can't expect 
the Old Media to report on how the New Media is faster, smarter, less 
credulous, and more concerned with accuracy than the Old Media.
