You echo my sentiments exactly.  (Well, almost exactly.  Not only have
I had enough discussion, but I also see situations, but historical and
current, where they've tried to take it from pie-in-the-sky to reality
and caused utter disasters.  I don't see any where they did so and
things turned out benign or better unless they first took great care
to think things through - of which the late 1700s USA is a prime
example, no matter what people may think of the early 2000s USA.)
