[extropy-chat] TransAct: A new Transhumanist activism email list

I am pleased to announce the formation of an email list dedicated to 
dissemination of information regarding political causes, pending 
legistlation, calls to action, etc. relating to Transhumanism and 
Transhumanist-related issues. The list may be found here:

  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TransAct/

The list will not be maintained under the auspices of any particular 
organization, and will thus be able to deal with specific legislation, 
political candidates, etc. without threatening any organization's 
501(c)3 non-profit status in the United States.

It is my sincere hope that this list will help jumpstart Transhumanism's 
influence on mainstream politics and society, by inspiring true 
grassroots organizing on practical issues of legislation and social action.
