Hemp grows wild in quite a few climates.  It is a very hardy oversized 
weed.  And no, it will not get you high.   Hemp has been used for rope, 
cloth, various usages for its oil and so on for hundreds of years.   
The current "drug war" attitudes toward the highly overbred 
intoxicating varieties should not lead us to swoon and roll our eyes 
whenever hemp is mentioned.
