Mike refers to the controversial Clear Word bible, which
is a paraphrase written to be easier to prove peculiar
SDA doctrines.  There was much debate on the propriety
of rewriting scripture back in the 1990s.  I don't see
why the not rewrite the bible to fit one's views: Joe
Smith did it, he wrote his own.  L Mother did it starting
from scratch.

In the end, the Clear Word bible was never accepted.  I
have never seen one actually in use.
