1.  A woman who has an abortion because her own life is in danger is
protecting her life. She is not valuing her life about a child, as the
child has not been born and no one knows if the cells will complete their
formation and evolve into a child.  The child is a future being, not the
current state of being. 

2.  A woman who values her life first, and her child second is being
responsible.  If a woman values her child more than herself, she will not
be able to provide a stable environment for the child. She must come first
in order to be a "mother."  By coming first, she is proactively creating
the best possible situation in order to fully provide the care, nuturing,
and protection that the child needs in order to be healthy.
