[extropy-chat] Japan: The Future is Now -- on the Science Channel

Probably many of you know about (some of)
the shows on the Science channel but I only
just discovered this one:  

	Japan:  The Future is Now

Excellent show, much about robotics, AI, 
and general technology improvements.

Today:  
  Near 400 Kph all electric auto.
    'Consumer ' version does 0-100 4 seconds
  Talking robot that understands both gestures
	(head nods/shakes) and tone of voice.
  Asimo walking robot
  Bullet trains
  Improvements in autos to reduce pedestrian injuries

Generally show, very interesting, excellent.

Channel 193 on my US DISH Satellite but of course
this will vary by location/vendor.
