Yup, and the spam on my blog is only the half of it. The real spamming
problem in blogs at the moment is coming from spammers creating new
blogs from rss feeds of real blogs, just to get better page rankings
in google apparently (does that even make sense?). Here, this explains
it...

Oh, and btw the chunky spam comments on my blog are there because I
allowed anonymous comments (accidentally), and when it started
happening I thought "cool, a new form of spam, show me more!" But now
I'm sick of it, so I've locked it down.
