I also rely on evidence and patterns which mere passing observation 
detects in the natural universe, if there's no reason to expect that 
science could should and would test it.  I rely on my eyes to tell me 
whether my shoelace is untied; this fact is rationally knowable to me, 
but it is not part of the publicly acessible knowledge of humankind, as 
it would be if it were a replicable experiment published in a journal.

Aside from that, the answer to your question is "Not intentionally."
