The March 06 issue of Scientific American commented that caloric restriction
is the only longevity strategy absolutely proven to work.  Today I saw a
magazine called "Life Extension" which has articles on caloric restriction,
longevity genes, even an ad for the Alcor conference in October.  This
magazine was on the shelf at the local grocery store.  Suddenly I feel so
mainstream.
