### Catastrophic plan with an HSA is definitely the answer as long as
you are healthy. For this solution to make sense you need to have a
few years of healthy life, so you accumulate funds for the inevitable
problems later on. If you already spend 2-3 k per year on healthcare,
a regular insurance plan is unfortunately the only realistic option.
But if you start the HSA in your twenties, you will have enough cash
by the time you need it.
