Surface water and soil temperatures are far more important
for the rate of CO2 fixation than a few % less sunlight
reaching Earth surface.

Earth is a highly nonlinear system. While our models are
getting better there are always surprises. What we need
is a good handle on the homeostate knobs. Knowing what
is happening and what is going to happen next with sufficient
degree of precision is the first step for that.
