There is a quote usually attributed to Albert Einstein:
"The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once."

A version of this is attributed to lecturer Dharma Kumar at Cambridge
University, England : "Time is a device to prevent everything
happening at once; space is a device to prevent it all happening in
Cambridge."



Abolishing time and space could make for a really bad hair day.
