This makes sense, in fact in another multiverse we might all be going through torture at this very moment.

When it comes down to it, I think people will have more important things to do with their time than torture people who were suspended and you are probably more likely to suffer from such a fate due to your own mistakes rather than the evil of others. So don't worry about it.
