No. I think I understand now what Thomas was thinking. I don't "abdicate  
the intellect". However, following Nietzsche and Schopenhauer, I do assert  
the primacy of the will over the intellect.

1) We are not our thoughts. We have thoughts.
2) We think that which we will to think, i.e., the intellect serves the  
will.

True, I didn't. It's nice to see for a change that our views are at least  
roughly compatible.
