And if you went back to the 19th century you would find respected
scientists of the day saying that the evidence for the existence of Psi
(called spiritualism back then) was virtually nonexistent while the man
in the street and those with no scientific training were saying the 
evidence was overwhelming. 

So what has changed after more than a century? Not one God damn thing!
A more unproductive area of "research" you could not find.
