[ExI] Thanksgiving cheer (Natasha's post)

The thoughtful article about the dark genocidal history behind Thanksgiving Day
reminded me of the very public Columbus Day controversy.  The other downside to the T-day holiday is the potential for loneliness if your friends and family are far away or simply all dead.  Natasha's warm Thanksgiving Day greeting reminded me how we really do need each other and that is at the heart of the holiday now.  
   
  I wish the Extropian Institute was still up and running but at least we have this very special mailing list and so the spirit of ExI will never die.
