Individuals with a focus on external objectives do not have time to
participate in primate mailing list games, so there is a selection
effect. People doing don't have much time for the people talking and
no time at all for the people engaged in petty arguments.
This is the problem with mailing lists. Those with something worth
saying rarely have time to say it.
