Tiny doses of a small molecule like LSD can drastically change
cognition by non-covalently associating with certain receptor proteins
and slightly changing their conformation. Given this, how can you be
confident that glossing over anything below the level of the gross
structure of a neuron would preserve the integrity of your mind?
