A mysterious Australianism is this term "bugger-all." From the context it
appears to mean "nothing" which is the polar opposite of "all." Conclusion:
the term "bugger" must mean "exact opposite" so that bugger-all is
synonymous with the terms "nothing" or "zero." In that spirit, were
Australia to launch a rocket, the countdown might go "...three, two, one,
bugger-all." If a nuclear bomb exploded above some Australian city, then
the point on the surface directly below the explosion would then be called
"ground bugger-all."
