What?! Does this imply that in the US one can be *forcibly* committed 
to rehab *involuntarily* for *fucking around too much*???

Or is "did so voluntarily" just some journalist's ignorance 
(conflating sex outside marriage with being a drug or booze abuser 
subject to such a legal order), or yellow press mischief making?
