and as my infuriated wife points out, the USA is grossly anomalous in 
having Huge numbers of Mexican immigrants legal and illegal, who 
deform the stats of people at risk.

Nonetheless, it is worth noting that not all nations with "socialized 
health insurance" (like the one Stathis and I are especially familiar 
with, Australia) are festering pits of untreated illness ("take a 
number and pray") as a result.
