It's not a barrier, it's just a noticeable artifact of our number
system. But, it is useful I guess in that we should expect to see
greek prefixes fall with a roughly invariant interval between one and
the next, if we have exponential increase in computing "power".

OTOH, moore's law is a self-fulfilling prophecy, a dream given form so to speak.
