I was thinking of something like the Glass Bead Game[1] described in
the book of the same name. :)

After reading the Wikipedia page for GBG, I wonder if I have a
completely different view of the book - or if that was itself the
primary point Hesse was making.

I have been thinking a lot lately about how an interface could be
constructed to facilitate the exchange of more context-rich concept
tokens - I've had the basics of the inner workings for a while, but
the interface is ...challenging.
