I haven't read anything on Clark's site, but I did, many years ago, read about a fox domestication experiment:

It appears that this attempt at domestication -- selecting for tameness -- also led to other traits one finds in domesticated animals, such as floppy ears and variations in coat coloring.

I'd like to see similar work with the lynx.
