Per cable news, brush fires are threatening 300 homes in the Bonny Doon area by Santa Cruz where the Heinleins lived. I don't know if their house is one of the ones designated At Risk but it doesn't matter much -- if it isn't yet, it easily could be. -- David Lubkin.
