Because people need to eat many times every day where they need
healthcare only a few times in their lives.
So it is much easier to disguise their incompetence and they shortcoming.
Then is also much easier disguise how the politicians receive a much
better healthcare than the common people (they have not waiting list but
this never do the first page of a newspaper) where the simple fact that
they are fully nourished when the mass is undernourished would much more
visible.
With education is even easier to pretend it is good, until people exist
schools and are astonished about how much inept they are in the workplace.
But, mainly, because hungry people is know to never listen to excuses
and socialists know that they are really incompetents.
A few don't know this, and do a very big mess, like Mughabe and Chavez.
