While everyone is working on making and sustaining fire to smelt
various available rocks, I suggest we have a team working on
harnessing water.  Whether using waterwheels to power pulley-driven
tools (dawn of industrial age machine shops) or pre-Edsel
steam-powered locomotion would help in the hauling of those special
rocks.  Oh yeah, it's also quite useful for drinking.
