Yes, stevia is "natural", so a lot of people think it's okay whereas
man-made chemicals are evil. Poisons occur in nature too, and I'm sure that
if you pumped rats up with mega-doses of stevia you would get enough side
effects to create a pretty scary looking web page warning against using it.
