me that the
 strange nature of quantum mechanical phenomena, and in particular quantum 
non-
 locality and quantum non-separability, could be easily extended - at least
 heuristically - to different contexts (i.e. gravitational fields) to get 
new

By non-local gravitational fields you mean putting gravity on a spaceship 
for instance? Now that would be interesting.
