There are plenty of us here who might agree Mambo Chicken was Regis' best
work.  That I find odd, for I recall he was a young-ish guy when I met him
in 1989, about 40-45ish.  Perhaps it was just the subject matter?  No, Mambo
Chicken had a definite flair, or a sort of playful bounciness to it that
seems lacking in the later Regis material.
