Well I admit it does a little bit seem like intelligence to me too, but only a little bit, if a computer had done the exact same thing rather than a amoeba you would be screaming that it has nothing to do with intelligence it's just programing. But never mind, on a scale of zero to 100,000,000,000 on the intelligence scale with me being 80 and Searle being 49 I'd put amoebas at .000000000000000001 on that same intelligence scale. I'd put that same amoeba at .01 on the consciousness scale.
