Possibly something like that. The experience from Star Gate and 
elsewhere suggests strongly that psi does not handle detailed 
alphanumerics well, and often flips images right to left; the main 
feature is a powerful correlation with entropy gradients in the target. 
This is why remote viewing and Ganzfeld protocols are more effective in 
eliciting informative coincidences than the classic boring card-guessing 
experiments. In a sense, psi is *all* semantics--more paradigmatics and 
less syntagmatics (in the terminology of semiotics).##
