[ExI] NYT: The Technocracy Boom

Canada is generally known to be the only nation, in the history of the
world, that ever got it's independence by asking nicely for it. That
was either 150 years ago, or 30 years ago, depending on how you count
it. Either way it hadn't happened before, and hasn't happened since. I
wouldn't count on it happening again.
