[ExI] endpoint of evolution

I realize this thread is a bit old but I feel it's an appropriate one to
pose this scenario. Not looking for right and wrong answers I just figured
this list could provide some thought provoking answers.

A rational entity is created which outperforms humans in processing,
lifespan(self-repairing, replicating) and memory retention when compared to
human development. Along with this certain issues exist that do not allow
the human self to exist beyond its current finite physical form(Specifically
transferring the mind out of a dying brain while retaining the self). Humans
decide instead of decaying into death they preserve themselves as best they
can and assign the entity objectives with their eventual resurrection in
mind.

What objectives would you give the entity?

Example: Resurrect me when I can be immortal would result in the entity
requiring your immortality, unachievable without having attained
omniscience/omnipotence. (you cannot guarantee immortality if there is still
some unknown which could threaten it)
