I have a vague recollection of that book because it was inordinately
long in comparison with my interest, and because at that time I found
the English of Banks rather difficult, so I ended up "jumping" more
than a few pages.

What I can say is that inasmuch as I could grasp it, I hated the
tedious and moralistic ideology thereof.
