[ExI] hang gliding spot

If anyone here ever wants to take up hang gliding, look at this site and
scroll down to photo number 9.  I recognized it as a picnic area I used to
frequent many years ago, a cliff that overlooks the Owens Valley in southern
Taxifornia, about an hour and a half north of the town of Ridgecrest:

That where the dog is standing is about 1000 meters above the valley floor
way down there.  On a good hot updraft day, one can take off from there and
soar all afternoon.  The takeoff spot is actually a little to the right of
the right edge of this photo, and it isn't really a cliff exactly.  The
ground drops away at about pi/4 radians from horizontal, so it is
functionally a cliff ideally suited for the purposes of hang gliding but not
for suicide, depending on how one looks at hang gliding.
