Or driving a car, visiting the lions in the zoo, etc etc.

If you were in a public place, it could be a bit embarrassing.

(This is all assuming a mysterious instantaneous shift; usually I have 
no trouble shifting all my atoms a meter to the left, and my clothes 
with them.)
