TIME has announced its

28> 2011 TIME 100 Poll, which asks readers to "cast your votes for the
leaders, artists, innovators, icons and heroes that you think are the most
influential people in the world." The Top 100 will be included in TIME's
annual TIME 100 special edition.

As of 5:30 p.m. EDT Sunday April 10, Ray Kurzweil ranks 41, just above U.S.
President Barack Obama.

Voting is open through April 14, 2011, limited to one vote per nominee per
computer per day. To vote: click on the link below, click on the person you
wish to vote for (or against), choose "Yes" or "No"  (influential or not),
