Perhaps you were thinking that the electrician was not well grounded... ;-)

The cost of connecting to the grid is somewhere between $75,000 and
$150,000. Plus we would have to negotiate running wire across several
unfriendly neighbors' property. THEN we get to pay the bill every
month. :-)
