Whose predictions are you referring to? Reality Check's?

Right. I also like reading discussions of why a product, project,
marketing campaign, design, etc. failed. A bit of learning from
their mistakes, a bit of Schadenfreude.

And if it was my own, I really want to know. I don't mind making
mistakes; I mind repeating them.
